Whelan Energy Center Open House

Plan on attending the upcoming Open House at the Whelan Energy Center site on September 16, 2012. The Whelan Energy Center is located two miles east of Hastings on U.S. Highway 6. Plan on taking a tour of Whelan Energy Center facility. Whelan Energy Center Unit 1 which is municipally-owned by the City of Hastings and the Whelan Energy Center Unit 2 which is operated by the Public Power Generation Agency (PPGA) of which the City of Hastings is a member. The Open House will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday September 16th.
