Hastings Community Theatre kicks off its 2013-14 season with Lucille Fletcher's chilling mystery/thriller, Night Watch, opening on September 27th. Unable to sleep, Elaine Wheeler paces the living room of her Manhattan townhouse, troubled by unsettling memories and vague fears. When her husband steps away for a moment, Elaine screams when she sees the body of a dead man in the window across the way. Audience members will be on the edge of their seats as the police are called, and find nothing but an empty chair. Elaine's terror grows when she sees still another body -- this time a woman's -- but by now the police are skeptical and pay no heed to her frantic pleas... Directed by Roger Doerr and produced by Patrick Crawford, Night Watch features Kathy Stofer as Elaine and Rick Klamm as her husband, John. Lisa Tschauner, Ben Larson, Cory VomWeg, Stephanie Kinney, Jesse Nielsen, Katharina Schwidtal, and Fred Teller are also providing their acting talents.

Night Watch will be performed at the theatre in Good Samaritan Village Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, September 27th to October 6th.
