Construction continues on Kearney roads

As construction moves into the next phase of the Second Avenue Project, the Nebraska Department of Roads and the City of Kearney announce that beginning Wednesday, the intersection at 29th Street and Second Avenue will be open to east-west traffic. Once the 29th Street intersection is opened, the 31st Street and Second Avenue intersection will be closed to east-west traffic so the contractor can progress north with construction. North-south traffic will remain as one lane throughout the work zone area.
